DISTRICT MADE STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

This bourbon looks to an ingredient from the past that was developed in the 1880s in the hollows of Virginia, Hickory King Corn. The large white kernels of the Hickory King provide a subtle sweetness, while the rye in the four-grain mash bill, adds a bold kick of spice. To create this signature style, distillery distills two different mash bills, one wheated and one high-rye, ages them individually, and then marries a few barrels together. The result is a four-grain bourbon that is drier with a rich texture.
