Single malt whisky from Kinclaith is extremely rare and highly sought after. Built to provide malt whisky for the Long John blend, the distillery was only in operation for 18 years, between 1957 an 1975, before being demolished in 1982.
This is a very rare Lowland single cask whisky. It was distilled on the May 28th, 1969 and matured in cask number 301446 for 35 years before bottling on April 4, 2005 by Signatory. Part of a release of just 219 cask strength decanter bottles and comes with Silent Stills Luxury Wood Gift Box Certificate.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Deep malt and tobacco. Kiwi fruit, citrus and crème anglaise.
TASTE: Dark, creamy oak and buttered toast, hints of cardamom, marmalade and plum.
FINISH: Long, toasty wood chips, sarsaparilla, anise.
